Hardonfelicia - Post Hurricane DELTA report by the two Cancun chicks We looked bad after the night without sleep and all the action we had over the course of the night I was so sorry I could not write and tell you how it was coming thru before this but the Internet is just restored now So the city was damaged intensively in some areas out complex was pretty much ok although many trees have fallen and won t be looking as amazing as before On the material side I sadly lost my brand new LED lighting kit to the hurricane after a window we had tried to secure has opened and flooded our washing machine area I had forgotten the kit was still in the box I had just unpacked it Monday and it was soaking in water all night Other than this and two plant from my tiny garden everything is OK Martina and I were like in a fun mission together and we supported each other during that evening There was a lot of water to take care of and much mopping but all in all we had a good time I reassured her many times It was Martina s first hurricane a second for me We had some tape in the windows and one of the guys from the building came earlier yesterday to help remove the doors and secure them on the large windows to avoid flying objects We had all the work gear and computer located in the living room The noise of the hurricane is always what is most striking There is no sound like this one it is so loud and strong that it like a grizzly from Siberia We are about 65 done with the cleaning but now we are exhausted and we might keep a bit for tomorrow You words of support and positive attitude was such a great feeling Although we felt super alone last night I knew plenty of you were with us and sending good thoughts our way and for this I again need to say that you are the worlds most awesome fans I hope I answered most of your questions good evening guys Felicia Read more
